Patience is Jason Seizer’s first CD as a leader. With the plethora of CDs being produced and the excess of mediocre "first recordings" on the market is a pleasure to listen to a first recording of such maturity and depth. The group plays a music emerging from the sophisticated mainstream of jazz. The hip and inventive compositions are managed and interpreted within the logic of the material, rendering a thoughtful expressive music.

The Jason Seizer 4et has been working and touring together for the last couple of years, and the give and take of the playing signifies the mutual respect and cooperation that comes from the long hours of making music together, the knowledge of each other`s styles and inner logic, and the ensuing ability to anticipate and intuit what comes next......
